A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer tutoring students not more than twice a week. One hour if twice a week, and two hours if it is going to be once a week. I believe that I have to teach the students not only the concepts of mathematics, but also the methods of solving the problems. I usually start with a diagnostic test to concentrate on weaker areas then come up with a weekly plan focusing on those areas. After a lesson, I usually give worksheets and sometimes online exercises, depending on the subject, and use videos and games if applicable.
I have tutored and mentored students for more than five years in Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Physics, Chemistry, English and ESL. I have a degree in Psychology and a certificate in TEFL.
