I tutored peers in high school often as well as my younger cousins, and occasionally kids at a daycare I worked at for a few years. I was able to get into college for free, as my mother is employed by the college that I was enrolled at, and so I stuck around for several years as a full time student simply for the joy of learning. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process. For older students such as my high school students or their college counterparts I use more direct audial teaching and visual teaching styles. Every person learns differently, so I cater my teaching style to each individual learner.
