As a Webster University graduate, I pursued advanced degrees (Master of Arts) in the fields of HR Management and HR Training and Development. I also attained a BS in Business Administration at Spalding University. I have used the Training and Development degree to a large extent. This comes with tutoring adults to young children in the areas of English, Grammer and Writing. This training that I have done has occured for the last 10 years. In May 1997, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Superior State University with a major in English Language and Literature and a minor in French Language and Literature. In May 1998, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Michigan Provisional Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education. My experiences as a technical writer, web designer, and writing tutor have been invaluable and have strengthened my skills both as a writer and as a teacher of writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all children can be successful academically with the right encouragement and guidance. I believe in showing students the correct way to do the task at hand, and them coaching to explore the materials themselves. I believe that given the right tools and foundation even a academically unsuccessful student can excel.
During the pursuit of my degrees I worked tirelessly to excel. While in school I volunteered as a tutor for the local Boys and Girls Club. I tutored middle school and high school students in literature, math, science and history. Due to my degree in Library Science I have extensive knowledge in writing term papers and research methods.
