I can teach/play in all styles, and greatly prefer working with youth ages 13 and above. I can teach beginning and intermediate students. I have an easy-going style, and work best with self-motivated students. I have over 25 years of experience in the music field, and have worked as a professional pianist in churches, theaters, schools, and colleges. I accompany choirs, private vocalists, voice classes, juries, recitals, and musical theater productions. I work very well with older youth/teens, and adults who are self-motivated, and have a strong interest in learning. Flexible. I am trained classically and appreciate the need for the learning of that technique, but am more than willing to accommodate the student's varied musical interests and tastes.

My teaching style is adaptable to the student. I have over 10 years of experience tutoring. I have tutored elementary to college students and even taught basic reading through Sylvan's Ace-It tutoring. I have extensive experience working one-on-one and also in groups. I was a Supplemental Instruction Leader all through my college years which allowed me to work with groups and instructors, creating sample tests and quizzes, and helping individuals with different learning styles. I enjoy the challenge of teaching music to children and adults of all experience levels.
