Physics is one of my top subjects!

In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. During session I prefer to use the course work and text assigned to the student. Doing so allows for the structure of our sessions to easily mesh with those of the course.
While obtaining my B.S. I tutored through a community development after school program for a year; in which I helped 4th-8th graders with their math and reading homework. I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes. While at Appalachian State I tutored upward bound high school students. I also tutored some privately. While at Kansas State I tutored privately.
I enjoy teaching greatly. I recognize many students have difficulties with mathematics and I try to relate to them and help them.
