In 12 years as a high school teaching assistant, I have worked primarily with individual students in a wide range of subjects ranging from art, literature and history, to science and mathematics. As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. I enjoyed this area of study so much that I decided to transfer to Kaplan University Online and continue my study in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. I attended graduation in Chicago, IL, where I learned no matter what obstacles in life you face you can continue your education if your mind is set to do it. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a small, liberal arts, women's college, I have grown a strong passion for tutoring and helping others. I am currently studying to obtain a Master's in Public Health in order to ultimately educate the public about various health disparities.
