I taught 5 years of high school level science(chemistry, physics, biology, physical science), 3 years at university level, 1 year of chemistry at community college level. . During 5 years of teaching at the high school level, I worked with students rather than just lecturing to them. I developed a student centered understanding of what helps students learn. My entire background revolves around teaching. I taught in a Preschool while I was working on my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. While there I worked with all ages from Infants to the School Age children. After completing my degree I then went to teach in a public school. The first year I taught and ran the Preschool Program of about 50 children, ages 3 to 5 years. People learn at different levels, and what works for one does not always work for another; therefore,finding the way for each individual student is the key. I have also found that most people learn a task by 'hands on' learning, not listening to how it should be done. A Little Bit About Me...

Over the last 4-6 years I've had to teach coworkers the intricacies of engine technology (basic hydrocarbon breakdown and nitrogen depleting systems) to basic geometry and electrical circuits ( from creating concentric bends in pipe to large scale automated systems). I have not taught english to an 11th grader in a public school, but I make it a fact to learn everyday and spread the knowledge to whomever i come into contact with and is willing to learn.
