I spent two years in school learning the language and then 10 years in the field using it! I spent 3 years in Spain working with the Russian language as a Russian analyst. I also gained invaluable experience working on Naval vessels and intercepting live Russian language from Russian/Soviet Naval ships. This experience was invaluable.
