Russian is one of my top subjects! I am a native Russian and Ukrainian language speaker. I like to teach and I do it with enthusiasm, as I believe that learning a new language should be fun. I have taught in schools in Ukraine, and I am fully prepared for a methodical teaching to achieve a quick progress. For those interested, I can teach you many wonderful Russian folk songs.

After getting my Master's degree in Linguistics from the Kyiv State University, I have taught Russian and Ukrainian language and literature in Ukraine, to a variety of age and education level groups. I enjoy working with students, and I like to make my classes interesting and fun. In the U.S. I teach private Russian language classes.
I am methodical, always well prepared. My students achieve results, if they are determined to reach for success.

The teaching style I follow is that of a demonstrator or personal model teaching. I run the class with emphasis on demonstration and modeling. I will help students in developing and applying what they learn. I show my students how to properly learn, process, then apply the language skills they learn through a role play, or scenarios then students can independently apply and adapt demonstrated methods. Students are expected to take some responsibility for learning what they need to know and for asking for help when they don't understand something.

I have recently graduated with an MBA and BA in mathematics. I have tutored students in math, algebra, calculus, and geometry. I am also a native speaker of the Russian language and enjoy teaching students whose language skills range from the beginner to the advanced/ conversational level.
I enjoy working with students with all levels of knowledge, beginner, intermediate, or advanced. I prefer to be able to provide individual attention to all students, even when working in a group setting. I feel that it is important to encourage conversational learning methods in Russian and to enable every student in a group to participate in the learning process when teaching math. I enjoy providing patient and creative teaching methods that keep students interested and feeling enthusiastic about the subject.
