I have always had a strong appreciation for education and learning new things. My educational experience was strengthened when I attended Cornell College, which has a strong liberal arts program. I immediately took an interest in the sciences and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Pre-medicine. My education was additionally complimented when I immersed myself in several language, mathematic, English, and humanity courses, which gave me a strong diversity in the liberal arts curriculum. I was very involved with volunteer activities as a high school student, one of which involved tutoring elementary age children in the areas of reading and writing. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Bethel University, I am currently pursuing a teaching career and am committed to excellence. While I was at Bethel, I earned two bachelor degrees, one in Creative Writing and one in Spanish. I assisted numerous friends by copy editing their essays, showing them where I saw they could improve while affirming where I saw their strengths. Each of these friends received A's or B's on their polished work. I also studied in Spain for one semester to complete my degree. I have worked with the Special Needs community for almost five years now, and have worked for ACR Homes in St. Paul, MN and for REM, Iowa besides working as a para-educator for Wickham elementary.
