In pursuing my accounting degree I found that I have an extraordinary passion for accounting. I worked hard to achieve my BS in Accounting during my four years at Daemen College. I have extensive skills in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and auditing. While I was attending Daemen College, I tutored financial and managerial accounting. The students I had were diverse and of all different majors. I was very driven while I was obtaining my BS in Accounting and I remain driven while I finish my MBA.

After receiving a degree in Sociology from a New York State University, I went on to earn a provisional teaching certificate in Biology. I have twenty-one graduate hours in Reading and eleven graduate hours in Early Childhood Education. My previous work experience had me working with families where one adult was in need of a GED. I have tutored students from elementary through high school in every subject (except Foreign Languages) for over ten years. I have also worked with entering BOCES LPN students on math review and raised many of their entry level grades twenty points. I have tutored many friends and family throughout highschool and college and my teaching methods have spoke for themselves. I like to teach at that learners pace and let them start what they are good at and develop their knowledge from there. I love to work with children of any age. I have been volunteering for over 15 years helping wherever and whenever I can to help make the lives of children more enriched. I have two boys of my own (age 10 and 14) and have been successful in helping them achieve the best they can. My teaching style is one that allows the students to ask any pertinent question about the subject at hand. By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning.
