As a communication disorders major I have acquired an understand and love for working with children. During my internship I was able to work one-on-one with children who have language disabilities. It was through this internship that I learned what a reward it can be to help others, and to see them flourish intellectually. I have always believed that each child is truly unique. I work hard at leading students to figure things out for themselves. But if they get too frustrated, I will spell things out more in detail.
