3 years of teaching has made me love to watch students grow

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, and for the last three year I have been teaching at a Sunday school in the Maryland area. I have taught students how to read, write, and learn languages, along with teaching the students history. My speciality is Elementary education, as I have been teaching 4th, 5th and 6th graders. A Little Bit About Me...

My passion for learning is only exceeded by my passion for teaching others. I have received a well-rounded, liberal arts education. I have learned French for 9.5 years and spent 3 months studying in France. I have taken modern Hebrew for 2.5 years in college. I was accepted to the English Teaching Assistantship program in France where I will teach English to French children this coming year.
I am a patient learner and a patient teacher. First I see how children learn the best, and then, I decide the best way to teach them. I will spend the time necessary to make sure the children understand the material on their own terms, showing them that nothing is too complicated for them to grasp.

Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success. Throughout my educational career I have always been organized and a group leader when it came to helping my fellow students with projects/homework/studying, etc. For many years I tutored individuals in English, Math, Social Studies/History, German, Psychology and Arts.
