I elected to be a stay at home mom after a successful career. I wanted a flexible work schedule and thought about tutoring. I found that I loved tutoring students ranging from elementary to college level. I found much satisfaction in students' improved grades and the mastery of the subject that I was able to impart. My style is open to discussion. Teaching style? I tend towards an extrinsic, formal, and authoritative style. That said, I'm pretty easy to get along with, quite patient, and kinda fun. And 'formal' doesn't have to mean rigid. I will work hard to adjust and refine lesson plans to enable success in your area of study.
