I have worked in the automotive industry from 1995-2007. In 2007, I took a buyout from Ford in order to stay home full time with my two children. I went back to Ford Motor Co. in 2013, working part-time. My Bachelor's Degree is from University of Michigan in Electrical Engineering. My main focus is tutoring math. I enjoy teaching and I find it interesting to see how each one of us may need different way of explanation to understand the same problem. I feel that over time, we all tend to develop our own way of solving problems, which is really an indication that we are ready to solve the problems on our own. So when I start teaching someone, my first step is to help them develop an understanding of the problem, as a major part of solving a problem lies in a good understanding of it. Once students have a good understanding of a problem, the solution becomes much simpler.

I went to public schools in East Detroit, Michigan. In eighth grade I set a personal goal to attend the University of Michigan. I never had private tutors. My strongest subject is math. My teaching experience came from tutoring at Alkebulan Village for the last two years. I tutored high school students at different levels of math such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra (I & II), Geometry, Precalculus. I also prepared the student for the ACT exam. While I was in college, I also tutored many students in calculus (I, II & III), Differential Equations, Linear Equations, C++, and Microsoft office words, and excel.
I love teaching and it is my favorite thing to do. I been told by every student I help or tutored that I am one of the best teacher they ever had. The one thing that I observed about the learning process, is that a person quickly grasps a concept if he/she is interested, or the topic is thoughtful and challenges the wit of a person and lastly, a person is very comfortable in learning through his/her friends. Nobody is stupid not to grasp a concept. It is the methodology, technique and feeling of comfort and interest, that is required. Hence I try to be affable and was more involved. A picturization or a real life example is more likely to fit in a person's mind. I used this technique and was very successful.
