I enjoy teaching children and helping them accomplish their goals. I believe that learning should be fun. I try to motivate each child by focusing on their strengths. I encourage each child to try their best. I believe that each child has the potential to do well in school and I feel that it is my job to help them succeed. I have helped several of my students improve their math and reading grades, dramatically! One of my students was failing math and he received a B on his last report card! The other student went from a fourth grade reading level to a seventh grade reading level in less than three months. I enjoy seeing the smiles on the children's faces when they get a good report card and it makes my job worthwhile.

My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Earth Science was my favorite subject in high school. I am very interested in ecology and environmental studies.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. I am fascinated with the concept that the more senses you utilize in teaching the better the child learns and retains what was taught. Some children respond to verbal teaching, while others prefer visual teaching, or others like to interact with their environment (the hands on approach). Each child has their own language. I believe that a teacher must do whatever is necessary to reach the student so that he can learn. Learning should be fun and enjoyable! Although I have tutored all ages, I mostely enjoy tutoring children or youngster. The reason is that they have fresh mind and have a very good ability to the learn languages easier than adult. However, adult tutoring can also be a lot of fun and easy depending on the learner's motivation.
