A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching high school Drama while still in college in 1982, and went on to win four state championships. I began tutoring SAT students and teaching prep classes for the Princeton Review in 1989. I have taught GED prep for Rockingham County Services. In 1992, I began tutoring special needs students and teaching summer school social studies at Portsmouth High School (1992-1997). That year, I returned to college and earned a degree in English. From 2000-2007 I was Chair of the history and Drama Depts. at the Woodward School in Quincy, MA. That same year I began teaching History for phillips Exeter Academy's summer session (2000-2008). I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities. I continued on a transitional certificate teaching elementary grades two and four, and most recently have taught post-secondary medical assisting students at a post secondary institution as well as teaching night courses in adult education in medical terminology and medical transcription.
