I realized in my career life that I was always training new and experienced staff with so much ease. As a result, I became a point of reference even for subjects I did not know well about. When I asked people why they may think I know answers to their problems they would say, I had a good idea of how to go about in the right direction for answers. What makes me a great tutor is my patience and understanding of a student in need. I believe all children are capable of success but sometimes may need a little extra help to get there. My teaching style is one of comparisons and analogies. Sometimes students just do not understand the mathematical terms. I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.
I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology.
