I am an excellent teacher/mentor. Hire me, hire the best!

I began teaching in 2011 as a tutor at a local tutoring facility. I quickly realized that I had a gift for teaching and a passion for doing so. I continued to tutor at this facility for 3 years. My schedule remained full as I was in high demand once word got out that there was a good math tutor. I decided to leave the tutoring facility in order to pursue my artistic passions through music. Shortly after leaving, though, I got some phone calls from the parents of previous students asking if I would still teach their children. After some thought, I obliged and began tutoring privately. I get along well with everyone, and I am eager to share my knowledge with all willing to accept it.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has evolved throughout the years, especially depending on the type of student, but has always included plenty of preparation and making sure I know how to work through each question properly in order to explain from more than one angle how to answer. I believe that I have a very outgoing personality that is relatable to many different persons. I have the patience to sit and work through each problem that a student may have until it can make sense to them.
While an undergraduate at Colorado State, I taught various levels of chemistry laboratories for 4 semesters, which included both teaching credits and paid work. I spent one year as a graduate student at the University of Michigan in which I taught general chemistry recitation and a laboratory section. I am a graduate of the University of Miami holding two bachelor degrees, BS in Communications focusing on Film Production and Marketing and a BS in English focusing on Creative Writing.
