I love to see the glimmer in students' eyes when they understand information and make the necessary connections. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has evolved throughout the years, especially depending on the type of student, but has always included plenty of preparation and making sure I know how to work through each question properly in order to explain from more than one angle how to answer. I believe that I have a very outgoing personality that is relatable to many different persons. I have always excelled in school. My master's degree GPA is 3.8. my undergraduate degree GPA is 3.85. As a retired marine officer, I have had many opportunities to teach in a military environment. In addition, I served as the School Liaison Officer for the U. S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay School system for 3 years. During that time I also taught a college freshman English class for Troy State University aboard the base. Upon retirement, I tutored and mentored middle school students for 2 years. I also volunteered 2 years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a 3 children.
