The student should be working hard, but enjoying him or herself in the process, and this is when the most efficient and effective learning occurs. While I earned my bachelor's degree in communication from Loyola, I also worked as an Academic coach for high school students. I spent a year tutoring students for an academic competition that tested all skill areas including, writing, math, history and science.
