I tutored middle school and high school students in math when I was in a high school, specifically algebra I and II, as well as SAT prep. In college, I helped students in calculus, biology, and statistics, as these are the primary focus of my undergraduate degree. My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : Took a college Pre-Calculus course at UNCG. Passed it with a B-

I like interacting with students and openly communicating and socializing with students on topics related to math and real-world situations of their own thinking.
I tutored an elementary school student in his math class and then that same school year in the Spring semester I helped out a college student with his pre-Calculus course. This was in 2013-2014 school year and it was a payment at my own discretion and on my own. I also have had experience working in an administration position in Human Resources area and it certainly helped me in organizational skills and communication skills.

Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

Professional Exam Prep and Subject Tutoring

During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades.
