A Little Bit About Me...

One of my best attributes is patience. I try to explain concepts differently if students don't initially understand. Teaching math requires this because there are many instances when students lose their focus. Over the past 15 years I have had variety of different teaching experiences. I taught literature as a TA at UC Santa Barbara while studying for my Masters. I have tutored K-12 students in both Math and English. While studying for my undergraduate I assited in running a homeless shelter where I taught many of the children reading, writing, and math.
