I believe that it is important for the student to be able to relate to the teacher and it is the teachers job to create that connection.

Both my mother and my sister are teachers. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. Currently, I tutor my two daughters with all their subjects. My 15 year-old has a 4.2 GPA and my 11 year-old has a 3.9 GPA. One key skill I mastered at work, and as a consultant, is my mentoring of my staff.
