Elementary Grammar is one of my top subjects!

I believe it is so important to be a stepping stone for a child. You should be there for them when they start to stumble, but you shouldn't do everything for them.
I am an Elementary Education major at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. I have many hours of field experience that I have completed for my education courses. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher for 7 years. I have taught in a small-town private, Christian two-room schoolhouse (K-8); I currently substitute teach for OPS, and have been to all but one school in the district. I have also tutored on and off over the years, both individually and in small groups, both privately and through school district or companies. I enjoy working with students in a smaller setting, especially one or two at a time, and helping them understand concepts and thus succeed in their schoolwork.
The process is just as important as the product. If a student can come up with the correct answer, but he or she has no idea how or why it is correct or how they got it, I feel like their learning is incomplete. I am a first year graduate student at UNO receiving my Masters in speech-language pathology. I completed my undergraduate degree at Hastings College and receiving a double major in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I have more than 850+ hours within the school systems, 425+ of these that are related to Special Education. I have provided services as a Respite Care worker to a little boy with cerebral palsy and have tutored several children.
