I think the best way to teach is to try to find examples that my students will relate to when it comes to instruction. Students can have very different life experiences, which can help, or hinder, their ability to learn certain subjects. My role is to help those students that have difficulty with understanding certain subjects to work with them to come to an understanding of the material, and learn from it.
I have a wide variety of professional experience in addition to my educational background. For the last three years I have worked as a physics and mathematics tutor. Unlike most tutors I have experience teaching on the college level. I worked as an assistant physics professor at Eastern Kentucky University during my last year of undergraduate study. Currently I have a BS in Physics Engineering, which has allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of physics and mathematics.
