As a graduate with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Rank I in Computer Education, I fill that I am highly qualified for this position. I have taught reading from various grade groups ranging from kindergarten on up to fourth grade. I have taken struggling fourth graders who were reading on first grade level and brought them up to their grade level. Teaching to me is about how to engage the student. The material that is prepared for daily lessons can be nothing more than just words to some students. The instructor must become one with the student and understand them on their level. Once you can see eye to eye with your students, then you can begin to help them learn and grow. After graduate school, I gained a stronger understanding of science while working in clinical and research microbiology labs.
