My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : The most important subject in your life's teachings is Math, if you are tired of feeling like someone is speaking a different language to you, call me. I can teach you math, in ways you have never heard off, that will all of a sudden make you see math, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and a lot of other courses in a whole new light.
In my years of education, I found that some of the methods used for teaching these subjects were inadequately explained, therefore causing students not to truly understand how to apply mathematics and science in school and their every day life. I have learned how to tutor in these subjects from raising my own children, all of whom found these subjects to be hard until I showed them how to avoid the pitfalls of our educations system. All of my kids were A students and are now in college, none of them now have a hard time understanding the subjects and are excelling in their own lives.
I am a hands on type of a tutor, I start from the basics and work my way up to their current subjects, so that they can build on a good foundation, understanding the basics is the most critical step to understanding the complexities of Algebra and above, and how the sciences start to get more complex ... read more
