Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. The students were 3-6th graders and required assistance in completing homework and practicing and refining their English writing and speaking skills. My duties included checking and correcting homework assignments, and being available during the homework hours for questions and help. One class really taught me the importance of building a teaching style with all of the learning styles involved. Whether it is visual, kinesthetic, audio, or reading, a good teacher will take the time to incorporate all of these into their style. I think this is so important especially when working with children because a child is at a very impressionable age with great imagination.
