Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. Education has always been very important to me. I was a nanny all throughout college and discovered my love for teaching by helping the children I watched learn in a variety of exciting ways. I have a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising and a Minor in Marketing. I have a Multiple Subject Credential and have taught Second and Fourth grade. I have experience teaching English Language Learners as well as students with a variety of learning disabilities.

My teaching style is very unique. I start off by just getting to know the student and having them get to know and trust me. I then build on that trust factor while helping the students with their homework. I connect well with students and they trust me. In the end, it seems to be the best way the students I work with learn and finish their work. Learning should be fun and not boring. It should be interactive and not just book work. If a student can experience learning first hand, they're bound to acquire enough knowledge to help them succeed.
