My comments on tutoring Test Preparation : I have been test preparing all my life. The subject is hard work.

I am dedicated to having my customers become successful. I take this very seriously. I am a great listener and understand that every day is not golden and wonderful. I am honest and will give you my input good or bad. I may have materials to assist in the learning process. Also, I will provide instant feedback. I will assist with research, homework and test preparation.
I have been teaching in a classroom environment for ten years at the Associate, Bachelor and Master's levels. I have tutored for over fifteen years. My positions included being Business and Accounting Instructor, Program Director of Business and Accounting program and Dean of Education for two different schools. I am a trained facilitator of a student success program taught by the Pacific Institute. I have written lesson plans and created new courses as necessary. My students are from kindergarten to College Level.

Learning can be fun!!

I love learning and teaching alike. My first teaching experience was in high school when I helped teach inner city children how to swim. Following high school, I earned a bachelor's degree in genetics at UC Berkeley, during which time I worked as a teacher's assistant for a genetics professor. While in medical school in Hungary, I tutored Hungarians in English, and medical students in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and biophysics. I completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine in the United States. As a senior resident I was responsible for teaching and supervising junior residents and interns. My teaching style depends on the indivual and his/her learning abilities. I believe that anyone can learn a subject if they are moviated and consistant in doing homework and asking quetions.
Experience in teaching and tutoring science, mathematics and English. My comments on tutoring Test Preparation : I am an educational psychologist and am very familiar with how tests are constructed. I have helped students successfully prepare for tests at the high school and college level.

I have taught in Michigan and in California. I also have credentials as a school counselor and psychologist. I have experience with all aspects of the special education system from the K through grade 12 level. This incudes testing, placement and re-evaluation and the IEP process. I also have worked at the post secondary level and am familiar with academic and financial aide requirements.
I am very aware of the necessity of adapting my teaching style to the learning modality of those I am working with. As an educator I evaluated students to define how they best process information. They may be auditory learners, visual learners or they may use a combination approaches. I am very patient and understand that everyone can learn. I believe in setting goals and evaluating progress to establish new goals when necessary.
