I send or give websites for the students to print practice question packets and do as homework to review and check together to go over mistakes.
I have tutored ACT two sophomores and English to an 8th grade a few months back. I tutored almost every day during my senior year in high school based off of what I had gone through preparing for both SAT and ACT (35 ACT math/ 800 SAT math/ 800 SAT subject test math level 2/ AP Calculus AB (5) ). During college, I swam varsity, an experience that taught me the patience and time management required to balance a rigorous academic schedule with the physical strain of a full-time sport. Later, I found that my personality and ability to work well with others was more helpful out of the water. During my 4th year, I coached the club swim team, and then moved up to assistant coaching the varsity team during my 5th year. I was able to understand the difficulties students were having and helped them with their work as well as helping them manage their schedules.
