I hate lecturing! I do! This is why my tutoring style is very interactive. I don't like talking AT a person, I prefer to have a conversation. My goal as a tutor is to make subjects interesting, and also to make sure they stick- so you can do well on exams. I also teach study skills in every session, so ideally you won't have to rely on me forever. 1. Assess student's current understanding of course material by asking a few questions and having student write a page summary. 2. Student and I again review material and locate gaps. 3. Student and I make timeline (or other visual aid). 4. Student is provided with study skills (reading, writing and memory- I'll bring these) 5. Again review course materials, incorporating new study skills. 6. Student and I search for real-life examples (current events/news, possible field trips, attending relevant events).

I even studied abroad in Morocco after that, further strengthening my French language skills.
