After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills. I am very patient and want to provide education to anyone that needs it. When I was in school I often struggled with school work, so I learned many different techniques to learn how to learn.
While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill. A Little Bit About Me...

With a high interest in foreign language, I decided to pursue a double bachelor's degree in Spanish and French. Having studied abroad four times, twice in Mexico, once in Costa Rica and one in France, I feel like my proficiency in both is at a level where I would be able to tutor many levels. For that reason, I ask a lot of questions to ensure that a student is not just learning by rote, but understands a topic within its larger context.
