Highly Qualified Certified Master Teacher

As mentioned in my earlier description, I have eighteen years experience as an educator. I have taught students of all ages from early childhood through college and non-traditional adult education. I believe in making learning fun and engaging by relating concepts to points of interest for the individual student.

I achieved the Eagle Scout Award in the Boy Scouts of America program and was selected by American Legion Post to attend North Carolina Tarheel’s Boy’s State in the summer of 2000. My favorite part about teaching is the moment that something "clicks" within a child's mind.
