A Little Bit About Me...

After obtaining a BA in Business Ad, becoming a CPA, and working ten years as an accountant/auditor, I focused my skills towards teaching. I taught accounting and business math 4 yrs at a business college and community college. In addition I have used extensive grammatical skills in writing audit reports and business letters. I also have many years volunteering in various children's programs. Most recently is five years as Children's Teacher/Supervisor of a weekly preschool program of 35 children ages 2-6,

I have discovered that in order to teach French and especially French grammar, most students didn’t know what an adverb, a noun or a subject was. After my first semester at ESU, I changed my teaching methods and I choose to spend more time on the basic and the fundamental and make sure that the students actually understand (the reason (for) the whys). I also believe that students learning a foreign language want to have the practical aspect of it but also want to learn about the country and the people who speak it around the world. It allows me to emphases on the cultural aspect of the language. Seeing a smile on their face when they got the final grade was the best reward teaching gave me.
