My comments on tutoring C++ : Taught C++ at 2 local universities plus 3 private institutions. Have also programmed in "C++" for over 20 + years in the private indusry sector.

I am capable of both structured and informal teaching styles depending upon the situation. I find that when smaller increments of course instruction is followed up with the student demonstrating proficiency and comprehension the overall learning experience is maximized. Repetition is normally the best way to comprehend not only the material presented but it allows the student to assimilate the steps and formulas simulataneously.

With 20 years as a software engineer. I attended FIT completing Masters in Operations Research and in Environmental Science. In the past I have taught courses at the under graduate and have been charged with conducting training courses for teammates. Courses taught at the college level included computer science and programming. I have also taught as a substitute teacher at all levels of the public school system and as a preschool and kindergarten teacher in a private school.
