I love seeing children learn and grow. My teaching style is a whole, part, whole approach. I teach the abstract concept and then the practical application. After the application is learned I relate it back to the abstract concept and alternate applications. I encourage mistakes because they are a valuable source of knowledge and learning. I have a bachelor degrees in elementary education and a master in special education, which allows me the ability to with students struggling in the areas of reading and math. I am able to collect data and progress monitor progress. I have learned to build on students learning styles and to promote differential learning.
