Where I find the problem I would show them the correct ways to approach a problem and prove it to them or use other methods to help them understand how the concepts work. I'm a good listener and very patient with students. A Little Bit About Me...

I was an exceptionally driven high school student, taking the most difficult schedule my small private school would offer. My course work included AP calculus and AP US government, on both exams I received good marks. In college I studied a wide variety of classes in pursuit of a degree in the liberal arts. My main foci were history, foreign languages and English literature and grammar while maintaining a love for the sciences and mathematics. I have spent the last two years teaching English as a second language in China. My time there was spent teaching the oral skills and tutoring in reading and writing.

I have completed four statistics courses dealing with different areas of statistics. I also have experience in one-on-one tutoring. Since 2008 I have taught math courses at Lakeshore Technical College. I teach Math with Business Applications and Algebra for General Chemistry.
