My philosophy of teaching can best be understood by interpreting the root word for education. Education comes from the Latin root word educare, which means to draw out. I believe in eliciting their thoughtful responses to the material presented toward them and demonstration of their understanding by applying or telling how the material would be applied to real life situations.
