A Little Bit About Me...

I graduate from ASU with a BA in History, a BS in Family Studies, a certificate in Nonprofit Management, and a minor in African American Studies. I was accepted to Teach for America and taught in Phoenix this past year. I taught 7th grade learning disabilities and will teach 8th grade learning disabilities in the fall. I have taught reading, writing and math but have tutored my students in all subjects. I will be teaching math, social studies, reading and writing in the fall. I knew I loved teaching since I was a young child. I actively started tutoring different age groups in 2004. I have worked with different kids from K-8th. I will be receiving my B.S. in Family and Human Development in May, 2009. I am already in the MEd program and started taking graduate classes in Spring, 2009. I will be completing 10 credit hours of gradute courses in May, 2009 and I will be receiving my MEd in Elementary Education in Summer 2010. In the past 4 years, I have tutored language arts, reading, writing, math, science and social studies.
