The child chooses the style. What I mean by this is that every child is different and every one of them learn differently. Teaching on a more personal level is how to aid the best results. I first introduce myself and get to know a little about the student I am tutoring. Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.
