Upon leaving University I went into sales and marketing management for a couple of years. A career change occurred as I entered the realm of land surveying and mapping. I was an exemplary student athlete and attended university on multiple athletic and academic scholarships. I have been responsible for teaching over 80 employees either surveying, trigonometry, geometry or math and computation basics. I also headed up staffs of 10-70 employees while in my management role. I believe it is imperative to identify a student's preferred learning style and to adapt my teaching accordingly. When working with a student, I prefer to allow the student to work through a problem and discover the answers themselves, while I guide and instruct them, instead of merely showing them.
