I am a strong believer in teaching through examples and letting students try to apply the knowledge I have taught them at various smaller stages, then apply it to the bigger picture. I love working with kids, and I think that with patience, understanding, and time, all students are capable of reaching their potential.
As an undergraduate, I attended Purdue University and worked as a teaching assistant where I ran my own lab, instructing students for one of their core management courses. In my junior year, I was asked to apply to an invitation-only program for an an accelerated MBA program only for exceptional students. I am now entering my final year of this program and will graduate in 2011 with a BS in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. As an engineer and manager, training employees was an integral component of work performed throughout my ten-year professional career. I created systems and procedures, followed by training and "tutoring" for successful implementation. I also worked for the university during my college years as a Chemistry coach. I tutored students 20-hours per week for four years, providing one-on-one and team services. In high-school, I tutored elementary students in mathematics and reading.
