I want to help and make a difference in each student that I tutor. I like to reach out to all of my students. I learn each of my students name and have them see that I want them to well. I also feel that students should be given assignments to work on during class and not lectured the entire time.
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping to educate people. I have earned a BS in Business Administration and a MS in Accounting. Through my education and experience I have an extensive set of business and grammar skills. I have completed four years of Latin and enjoyed it. During high school I took AP History and Government and past the AP Exam. I enjoy studying for Test Prep and enjoy helping students achieve their goals. I have tutored students for many years and enjoy working with students.

As a Latin teacher, I understand that Latin can often be a challenging and difficult language to learn. I have helped many students through these difficulties, and I appreciate the unique learning style of every student. I patiently work with each student according to his or her individual needs and help them to understand Latin rather than memorize it.
I am an experienced Latin teacher with a BA in Classics from the University of Tennessee and an MA in Classics from the University of Virginia. I have also traveled extensively throughout the Mediterranean to study and excavate the physical remains of classical antiquity. My teaching career began at the University of Virginia.
