I am an Intervention Specialist that teaches high school juniors and seniors with reading and writing. I have also acquired a Reading Endorsement that qualifies me as a reading specialist for grades k-12. Recently, I have furthered my reading intervention knowledge by mastering the level one certification with the Wilson Reading Systems. The Wilson Reading Systems prepares me to teach students to develop skills for decoding, encoding, comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.

Encouraging & Patient Elementary Tutor

I have grown up around kids my whole life. I am the oldest of four kids and my mom has a day-care in her home. I always thought I wanted to be a singer until I decided my junior year in high school I need to pick a more stable job. I took an internship my senior year of high school where I spent half the day at school and the other half as an intern in a Kindergarten class. Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects!

I have been teaching professionally since 2011, and have worked in various other childcare/education positions before that.
