The key to doing well in English is understanding basic structure and making it become second nature when writing. My teaching style exhibits a very individualized, hands-on approach. Even in a classroom with 20-30 students, I attempt to understand individual learning styles and work with students on an individual basis when possible. I think the best way to get young people involved in learning is to keep their minds thinking and never reach the point of predictability.
