My first two years were devoted to an education degree. I gained experience in tutoring, including assisting elementary students and mentoring a group of advanced math students. I was actually accepted into the school of education, and in the process performed 30 hours of classroom observations and assisting teachers at the high school and middle school level. During my remaining two years I private tutored students in algebra, college algebra, calculus, and statistics. As a result of being a perspective educator, private tutor, and having a bachelor's degrees in both Mathematics and History, I am a capable instructor for students in paper writing, research techniques, mathematical problem solving, and statistics.
