As a music therapist, I learned to apply my creativity to design instruction that allows the learner to be actively and successfully engaged in learning. As a special educator, I learned to quickly problem-solve if a support strategy is not successful. I posess a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Education. I have been able to successfully combine these two areas in school environments as well as corporate environments. The students that I have taught, tutored and mentored varied in age, educational level, and ability. I have always tried to match my teaching style to the learning styles of my students.
