My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Although I never taught this at an advanced level, the subject has been an ongoing passion.

Sept. 1987 to February 1988- Substitute teacher for San Diego Unified Schools. During this time I instructed all areas of curriculum in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.I also worked in many GATE and Seminar classes during this period. May 1988 to January 1989- Tutor at Windsor Learning Center Inc. At Windsor I planned and executed learning programs for First through Sixth Grade students. My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Just finished teaching this to Middle School. A fascinating topic.

I am passionate about teaching and spend most of my free time, creating curriculum that will excite and engage my students. I firmly believe that it is my responsibility to identify the strength of my students, as well as make them unafraid of their weaknesses. Only then, can a student and teacher begin a successful, working relationship. Student AND teacher must work at using all of our minds as much as we can.
